Position: Wellbeing Matters Project Lead Pay: £15.70 per hour (£30,615.00 per annum) Location: YMCA Norfolk Offices, Aylsham Road, Norwich and Countywide Contract Type: Permanent Hours per week: 37.5 hours per week Job Role Are you passionate about supporting the wellbeing of children, young people and their families? Do you have experience of delivering therapeutic support that makes a lasting impact? If so, YMCA Norfolk is looking for a dedicated Wellbeing Matters Project Lead to help shape and grow our family-focused services across the county. This role is central to the delivery and development of our Wellbeing Matters and Therapeutic Family Services, which provide tailored support to families and schools. Youll lead a team delivering interventions that promote emotional wellbeing, strengthen family relationships, and help children thrive both at home and in education. Working closely with schools, social workers and community partners, youll ensure our services are accessible, effective and aligned with the needs of those we support. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate wellbeing and therapeutic services across Norfolk. Build strong relationships with schools, commissioners and community groups. Support and supervise a team of practitioners, ensuring high-quality service delivery. Manage caseloads, oversee project reporting and contribute to service development. Uphold safeguarding standards and promote YMCA Norfolks values and Christian ethos. What youll need to succeed Proven experience working therapeutically with children, young people and families. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in line management and service promotion. Knowledge of wellbeing and mental health topics. A professional qualification or lived experience in parenting, family work or therapeutic support. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required. Full driving licence and access to own transport. Additional Information This role will require participation in the out-of-hours safeguarding rota ensuring responsive and effective safeguarding at all times.
