A successful company is seeking a talented Senior Sous Chef who can maintain the high standards currently offered at one of their venues located in Derbyshire. The Hotel offers simple, fresh, locally sourced foods and has an excellent reputation in the area. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunches and evening meals, afternoon teas are served, Sunday lunches are extremely popular. The kitchen is a good size, and this company offers an excellent working environment, as Senior Sous chef you will be assisting to lead a brigade of Chefs so good leadership skills are also required. Assisting to complete all necessary paperwork and ensuring the kitchen is performing financially is also a key part of this role.
Requirements:
This role would suit a Senior Sous chef, with a minimum 2 years experience at this level, looking for a new challenge in their career. This position would be ideal for a senior sous chef who is looking to progress to head chef level and has a proven track record of working in fresh food operations. Excellent knowledge of current kitchen regulations is also essential for this role.
