A well-established global organisation is looking to add a confident and capable Global Accounts Payable Clerk to its finance team. With ambitious growth plans and a dynamic international footprint, this is an opportunity to be part of a collaborative team that supports financial operations across multiple business units worldwide.
What you'll be doing:
You'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the global Accounts Payable function, working closely with colleagues across finance, procurement, and operations. Your responsibilities will include:
* Processing purchase invoices and employee expenses in line with internal controls
* Managing supplier payment runs and ensuring timely payments across global accounts
* Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies with internal teams
* Assisting with monthly journals, reconciliations, and VAT reporting
* Supporting cash management and ad hoc finance tasks
* Contributing to the annual audit process and supporting wider finance improvement initiatives
* Identifying opportunities for process efficiencies and automation
What you'll bring:
* Solid experience in Accounts Payable, ideally within a fast-paced, international business
* AAT qualified or working towards qualification (desirable)
* Strong Excel skills (intermediate to advanced); confident with Microsoft Office
* Experience with accounting software such as Dynamics 365 or Medius (desirable)
* Sound understanding of general ledger functions and month-/year-end processes
* High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and professionalism
* Excellent communication skills - comfortable dealing with stakeholders across multiple global regions
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a wider finance team
