Cover People are working in partnership with a warm and welcoming secondary school in Rochdale to find a full time Science Teacher for the new academic year (September 2025) for a minimum of a term! This is a brilliant opportunity for ECT’s looking to gain temporary experience before applying for permanent roles OR Qualified Science Teachers whose current role is coming to an end in July.
The role will be likely teaching KS3 and KS4 General Science with planning and marking potentially involved. The school is located close by to bus stops, train stations and tram links.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will hold QTS or QTLS
Recent experience teaching Science within secondary schools
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Passion to impact students to create a productive environment for students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. The above vacancy is a temporary position. Occasionally, the option to make this role permanent may become available later. We offer flexibility with this, as we understand some candidates may not wish to commit to a permanent contract.
