What Youll Do
* Supporting and deputising for the Home Manager, providing inspiring leadership to nursing and care colleagues.
* Overseeing the delivery of high quality clinical and pastoral care.
* Utilising nursing skills alongside managerial and leadership responsibilities.
* Focusing on residents with complex needs, conforming with the latest guidelines, making decisions, and maintaining high standards of clinical governance.
* Regularly auditing practices and procedures, care plan development and assessments, and walk rounds.
* Looking after all residents alongside the team and offering person-centred care.
Where you’ll work
The care home is located in Gloucestershire, within a beautiful park overlooking the surrounding countryside. The facility offers residential, dementia and nursing care on a permanent and respite basis, with facilities including a cafe, bar and a hair and beauty salon.
Who You Are
* An NMC Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD).
* Well versed in care planning processes and familiar with clinical assessment tools.
* Keen to develop your leadership skills and clinical knowledge, able to build close relationships with residents and their families, and dedicated to continuous improvement.
