A welcoming Extra Care service in Staffordshire is looking for a Service Manager to guide a dedicated team and help shape a supportive environment where residents can live independently with dignity and choice.
What the Service Offers
This is a modern setting designed for people aged 55 and over who want to live independently but may need a little extra support. Residents live in their own homes and receive care tailored to their individual needs - whether it's a helping hand each day or more regular assistance. What You'll Be Doing
1. Leading the day-to-day running of care services with a focus on quality and compassion
2. Working closely with families, professionals, and residents to create personalised care plans
3. Supporting and developing staff, ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time
4. Making sure everything meets regulatory standards and reflects best practice
5. Taking part in the on-call rota and stepping in when emergency cover is needed
What We're Looking For
6. Experience in a supervisory or management role within care services
7. NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards Level 5)
8. Confident IT skills and a proactive approach to using digital systems
9. A genuine commitment to person-centred care and empowering others
