Our client is a well-established family run business in Tonbridge who are looking to recruit a part time accounts assistant. With a small and successful team, they are one of the leading businesses in their sector and consistently delivering high-quality.
Job Description
• Full responsibility for all aspects of the Purchase Ledger and invoicing
• Perform daily bookkeeping tasks such as recording invoices and payments
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
• Help with cash allocations
• Perform bank reconciliations regularly
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
The Successful Applicant
A successful Part Time Accounts Assistant should have:
• A strong understanding of basic accounting principles
• Good knowledge of financial software programs
• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• A proactive approach and the ability to work independently
• Great communication skills, both written and verbal
This is an exciting role for someone who enjoys working in a sole role within a small finance function. The role is busy with a wide range of variety so the ideal candidate will be able to manage their workload effectively.
