Role Overview
OMNES is seeking a highly commercial and detail-oriented Merchandising Manager to drive trading performance, stock efficiency, and margin delivery across all channels.
Reporting into the CEO, this role is central to how the business trades - ensuring the right product is in the right place, at the right time, and at the right price.
You will work closely with the Financial Director to deliver strong sell-through, optimise stock position, and support profitable growth.
Responsibilities
1. Trading & Performance
o Support daily and weekly trading across all channels
o Monitor performance across sales, sell-through, and stock levels
o Identify risks and opportunities, and take action to drive performance
o Work closely with the Commercial Director on pricing and promotional execution
2. Stock Management
o Own stock flow, intake, and availability across all channels
o Ensure optimal stock levels to maximise sales and minimise risk
o Manage stock allocation across e-commerce, retail, and partners (e.g. Selfridges, ASOS)
o Proactively manage slow-moving stock and exit strategies
3. Range Planning & Forecasting
o Support range planning in collaboration with Buying
o Build and maintain WSSI and trading forecasts
o Track performance against plan and recommend actions
o Ensure alignment between intake, sales, and stock position
4. Margin & Markdown Management
o Support delivery of margin targets through effective stock and pricing management
o Execute markdown strategy in line with commercial direction
o Monitor discounting impact and recommend improvements
o Work closely with Finance to ensure margin visibility and control
5. Reporting & Insight
o Produce clear, actionable weekly trading reports
o Analyse product performance and customer demand
o Provide insight to inform Buying, Marketing, and Commercial decisions
o Track KPIs including sell-through, stock cover, and markdown
Key Requirements
* Experience in merchandising within a fashion or consumer brand
* Strong understanding of WSSI, forecasting, and stock management
* Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
* Commercial mindset with a focus on driving performance
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
* Strong Excel and data skills
