We are looking for committed individuals to work in a very important role as part of our catering and facilities team.
This is a part-time role, maximum 15 hours per week, on a fixed two-week rota.
The working shift patterns are: week 1, working Thursday and Friday from 7am until 3pm; week 2, working Saturday and Sunday from 7am to 3pm.
We are dedicated to improving the food service for our clients. You should have good communication skills, a flexible attitude, and be able to work as part of a team.
* You will play a vital role in maintaining an excellent environment for our patients.
* Your work will involve working alongside patients and occasionally interacting with them as you carry out your duties outlined below.
* You will be working as part of the Facilities Team and are expected to have a flexible approach to your duties.
* Full training will be provided, along with ongoing online and face-to-face training.
* Full uniform and PPE will be provided.
Main duties of the job
* Within a specialist Mental Health hospital, ensure that your assigned ward(s)/areas are cleaned according to the Work Schedule. This includes vacuuming, sweeping, scrubbing, mopping floors, high and low dusting, wiping and polishing surfaces, mirrors, bins, sani-bins, cleaning toilets, sinks, baths, showers, kitchen appliances, defrosting fridges, restocking consumables, descaling taps, and replacing bin liners.
