In this role, you’ll be an important part of our sales team, helping to keep everything running smoothly. You’ll respond to enquiries, speak with customers to understand what they need, prepare quotes and contracts, and make sure every conversation reflects the quality and professionalism Abbot Fire and Security is recognised for. If you’ve worked with customers over the phone before and are ready to build your career further, we’ll provide all the support and guidance you need to do it. We offer a competitive salary of £24,000 – £30,000, along with 25 days' holiday plus Bank Holidays, your birthday off, and a Company Pension. You’ll work 35 hours per week, 9am–5pm Monday to Friday, in a supportive, friendly environment where your ideas are valued, and your development is encouraged. What you’ll be doing: Speak with customers and potential clients over the phone, understanding their needs and clearly explaining how our services can support them. You’ll ensure every interaction is positive and helpful. Follow up on enquiries to build lasting relationships, preparing and sending accurate quotations, proposals, and contracts that reflect our professional standards. Set up new customer contracts on our system promptly and accurately, helping projects and agreements move forward smoothly. Work closely with the operations and finance teams to ensure a seamless onboarding process, keeping records up to date and sharing useful feedback with the management team. We’d love to hear from you if you have: Comfortable and confident speaking with people over the phone, ideally gained through experience in a customer service, administrative, or sales role Some background in sales or business development, or a genuine interest in developing those skills Well organised, thorough, and able to manage multiple tasks with a strong eye for detail Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and confidence using general office and administrative systems If you have the confidence, drive, and people skills to make an impact, even if you don’t tick every box, we’d still love to hear from you.
