The role
We are looking for a talented Marketing & Events Senior Executive to join our fantastic Marketing team on a fixed-term basis to deliver high-quality client events and networking initiatives.
The successful candidate will have exceptional interpersonal, organisational, verbal, and written communication skills, and previous experience in a professional services or corporate events role.
Responsibilities include:
* Assisting with planning, preparation, and delivery of business and marketing events, including seminars, webinars, networking sessions, client hospitality, and corporate functions.
* Coordinating event logistics such as venue sourcing, supplier liaison, catering arrangements, registration, event materials, and follow-up.
* Attending events to ensure smooth delivery, acting as a key contact for delegates and speakers.
* Working with the Head of Marketing to create event timelines, budgets, and run sheets, ensuring deadlines are met.
* Collecting, analysing, and reporting on event feedback and performance data to measure success and identify improvements.
* Managing records in the firm’s CRM and management systems, ensuring data is updated, cleansed, and segmented for campaigns.
* Generating delegate lists, attendance reports, and analytics to track ROI and marketing effectiveness.
* Supporting data insights for decision-making and campaign optimisation.
* Assisting with event promotion via email campaigns, website updates, and social media.
* Coordinating the production of marketing materials with design agencies and stakeholders.
* Preparing presentations, proposals, and award submissions related to events or client engagement.
* Conducting competitor research and market analysis to enhance offerings.
* Liaising professionally with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
* Ensuring activities align with Myerson’s brand, values, and compliance.
* Undertaking training and development as needed.
* Supporting other marketing projects to ensure departmental operations run smoothly.
Ideal candidate
Proven experience in a professional services or corporate events role, with knowledge of event and marketing best practices. The role requires analytical skills, creative thinking, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience with MS Office, webinar platforms such as Zoom or MS Teams, design tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva, and email marketing software like Campaign Monitor is preferred.
The candidate should be flexible, collaborative, and capable of delivering high-quality projects while handling varied tasks.
