The opportuni ty You’ll be responsible for developing a detailed understanding of your clients’ businesses and the risks they face. You’ll proactively contact your client prior to renewal, review their insurance programmes to identify any gaps in cover and, should any be highlighted, suggest appropriate means to mitigate these. You’ll be responsible for the full renewal cycle and will have access to a range of mainstream composite insurers, specialist carriers and MGA’s. You will use your superb negotiation sills to secure your clients the most comprehensive levels of cover at competitive premiu ms. Key areas of responsibility incl ude: To retain existing clients through active client manage ment.To build clients confidence in BQI through demonstrating knowledge and delivery of ser vice.To identify and contact potential clients, converting to new busi ness.Networking to increase awareness of BQI/JMG proposi tion.To communicate the firms’ proposition to clients effecti vely.To generate referrals and make introductions for the client to other areas of the firms’ operat ions.To follow BQI processes and poli cies.To work within FCA rules and guidance as interpreted by the firms’ compliance policies and proce sses.To proactively create, manage and follow through prospects to create a pipeline of prospective new cli ents.To collect fees and premiums in accordance with the firms’ proce sses.To build good working relationships with your immediate team and all other stakeholders and effectively network with suppliers and cli ents.To achieve assigned sales tar gets. What we’re looki ng forTo be successful in this role, you must have the following s kills; Previous experience as a Commercial Account Handler, ideally with 1-2 years industry ex posure.Strong understanding of commercial insurance pr oducts.Experience of working to high standards of FCA comp liance.Consistent record of target achievement and business growth.I.T. skills including use of an insurance IT system, ideally A cturis.Strong organisation skills.The ability to work to a high level of ac curacy.Exemplary customer service skills with the ability to build solid relationships with clients and in surers.Regulatory and compliance awa reness.Willingness to work towards Cert CII or already hold qualific ations.
