Process Engineer – Oxfordshire
We are looking for a Process Engineer based in Oxfordshire to join the Operations team of a well‑established and growing UK‑based advanced manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting production, improving manufacturing processes, and contributing to ongoing operational excellence within a technically driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Work cross‑functionally with Production, Quality and Engineering to support production and improve manufacturing processes.
* Lead and run own projects, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
* Ensure manufacturing facilities and equipment comply with H&S / COSHH regulations by creating risk assessments and associated documentation.
* Install, service, commission and maintain capital equipment, industrial machinery, CNC machinery, PLCs and controls.
Qualifications
* A degree‑educated engineer (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical, Electro‑Mechanical) or relevant experience in advanced engineering, manufacturing or production environments.
* Experience with continuous‑improvement initiatives and process improvements.
* Experience working with capital equipment, industrial machinery, CNC machinery or similar – installation, service, commissioning or general maintenance, PLC controls or any electrical knowledge is useful.
* Strong communication skills and comfort working in a dynamic SME environment.
* Ambitious, proactive, and willingness to progress within the company.
* Ability to commute to facilities near Aylesbury, Thame and Oxford.
* Starting salary £40,000–£45,000 plus company benefits.
