About the Customer Service & Transport Planner role:
This is a dynamic, dual role where you'll be the first point of contact for valued customers while also playing a crucial part in daily logistics. You'll handle customer inquiries, plan and schedule vehicle routes to meet deadlines, and liaise with drivers and colleagues to ensure everything runs smoothly. Your ability to multitask and problem-solve in a busy environment will be key to your success.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Handling customer inquiries via phone and email.
* Planning and scheduling vehicle routes for maximum efficiency and compliance.
* Liaising with drivers, customers, and colleagues to resolve any issues.
* Monitoring deliveries and collections, providing timely updates to clients.
* Maintaining accurate records and updating our transport management systems.
About You:
We are looking for someone with a positive attitude and strong communication skills. While previous experience in a logistics, transport, or customer service role is a plus, it's not essential, as they provide full training.
