Clinical Team Lead – Recovery

As a Clinical Lead at our Cambridge Hospital, you’re registered with the appropriate governing body and you have the relevant qualifications and experience. With excellent leadership skills, you hold post-registration experience in care of patients, in everything from Cardiac to Colorectal, Orthopaedic, ENT, Gynae and Urology.
As the Team Lead, you will need to:
·Work in a multi-disciplinary team covering a varied patient caseload.
·Use state-of-the-art technology, equipment and facilities.
·Supervise, support and develop junior members of the team.
·Provide high-quality perioperative care in a multidisciplinary team setting.
·Create high-quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence based.
·Have ample opportunities for continuous growth and personal development
·Support the Clinical leads and Theatre Manager in the efficient running of the department.
·Co-ordinate the theatre department
·Be instrumental to the patient experience, ensuring seamless, personalised care in the recovery room with a focus on safety and efficiency.
·Work well with consultants who are experts in their field.
·Have experience in line management of a busy and efficient recovery room, including ensuring professional development plans for a team
·Be involved in the creation of projects and initiatives for the improvement and efficiency of the Recovery room, and supporting the vision and safety of the overall department.
·Conduct audits and investigations and have experience in this
·To promote effective clinical risk management within the department – undertaking risk assessments and investigations, developing mitigation and escalation plans and contributing towards the maintenance of the departmental risk register
