Business Operations Manager\n\nLocation: Remote 12 Month Contract \n\nAbout the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Operations Manager to join our Business Operations Team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of a 85 Million Dollar Budget.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nImplement globally aligned processes for resource demand planning and forecasting.\nCreate and manage budgets and forecasts.\nAnalyse and report on GSPV operational and fiscal performance.\nProvide training assistance for newly developed financial processes.\nSupport policies and procedures to streamline billing and collection processes.Reporting Structure:\n\nReports to: Head of Business Operations\nPositions reporting into this role: Business Operations AnalystMain Responsibilities:\n\nMaintain the budget, focusing on forecasting, resource management, and financial review and reporting.\nEnsure the accuracy of global budgets before submission to Finance.\nCollaborate with key takeholders to incorporate necessary elements into the platform budget.\nLiaise with Finance to align GSPV program budgets with program strategy.\nProvide financial inputs into the R&D finance process.\nPrepare business analyses to support decisions, including functional resourcing models and vendor due diligence.\nGenerate executive-level reports for the leadership team, ensuring accurate financial results.Qualifications and Experience:\n\nEducation: Degree in Business, Scientific, Medical, Pharmaceutical, or Financial discipline,\nExperience: Minimum of 5 years managing departmental budgets, with proven financial acumen and experience with industry tools (e.g., Ariba, SAP, Smartcore, BPC, Clarity).\nCompetencies: Advanced Excel and financial system expertise, independent problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.Benefits of the Role:\n\nGlobal Impact: Manage an $85 million spend across multiple time zones, including Australia and the US.\nFlexible Hours: While you will work your standard hours, you may need to be online at 7am or 11pm to cover different countries.\nProfessional Growth: Opportunity to simplify processes and work towards a common goal.\nSkill Development: Gain confidence and learn systems quickly, with SAP and Excel being essential tools.\nIndustry Experience: Preferred experience in planning and managing budgets in the pharmaceutical industry.\nVendor Management: Support forecasting and manage vendors effectively.\nProactive Approach: Ability to spot and address problems proactively.\nLeadership: Experience in challenging senior-level decisions and working in pharma is highly valued.Why Join Us?
