The Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Solicitor (4 years PQE+) to join this established team. Based at either the Derby or Burton office (with occasional travel to other sites), the successful candidate will manage a varied caseload and be encouraged to contribute to team development and client engagement initiatives.
Duties include:
* Handling a full caseload of wills, trusts, probate, LPAs, estate planning and administration
* Advising on inheritance tax and later life planning
* Managing files independently with minimal supervision
* Providing an exceptional client experience with clear, compassionate communication
* Contributing to team development by supporting junior staff and trainees
* Participating in networking and marketing to promote the team and the wider firm
You
The ideal candidate will be a confident and personable private client solicitor or legal executive with the following:
* A minimum of 4 years PQE in private client work
* Comfortable handling a broad caseload independently
* A solid understanding of wills, trusts, LPAs, estate administration and tax planning
* Strong client care and communication skills
* Proactive, organised, and able to work on your own initiative
* Willingness to contribute to business development and marketing activities
* A team player who enjoys mentoring and supporting junior colleagues
* STEP membership or Association of Lifetime Lawyers membership is desirable, but not essential
