Farm Administrator
We are seeking to recruit a Farm Administrator to join our farm team
Job Title: Farm Administrator
Reports To: Head of Farm Operations
Responsible For: no direct reports
Salary: competitive
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm
Part-time hours would also be considered
The Role:
* Responsible for checking and entering sales and purchase invoices into farming software - Gatekeeper - and allocating stock between field/crops as necessary
* Updating daily labour sheets with information including name, crop, field and process.
* Liaising closely with finance team to ensure complete information and dealing with any queries as they arise
* Proving relevant reporting for other departments as required
The Person:
* Be competent in the use of excel spreadsheets and other Microsoft Office/Google applications and be able to operate our "Gatekeeper" software. (Full training will be provided for the Gatekeeper software.)
* Have accurate keyboard skills with the ability to enter large amounts of data accurately and in a timely manner.
* Have excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* While not essential, and understanding of agriculture would be desirable
