We are recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician for a global engineering group based in Poole, Dorset.

Salary: This position comes with a very competitive market related salary plus 20% shift allowance and comprehensive benefits package.
Hours of Work: Rotating Shifts double days.
Early Shift
- Mon-Thurs 6am-14:15 and Friday 6am-12pm and then rotates to Late Shift Mon-Thurs 2:15pm-10:15pm and Fri 12pm-7:30pm.
With additional hours as required to maintain the efficient running of the department.
Shift allowance is not paid for periods of sickness Location: Poole, Dorset, Job Summary The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on the plant, equipment, buildings and facilities of the site.
Responsibilities Fault find within the machine shop environment and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems as appropriate.
Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) checks on machines and equipment in line with the CMMS schedule.
Carry out complete site maintenance for all aspects and areas of the site, maintaining a high standard of site facilities and the overall site environment/appearance.
Work in a safe, tidy manner in line with Company policy.
Fully skilled maintenance technician with either mechanical, electrical or electromechanical bias.
Practical experience in fault finding within a machine shop environment, and the ability to repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
