Job Title: E&I Inspector
Location: Kent, United Kingdom
Contract Type: Full-time, Contract
Client: Major UK Operator
About the Role: Ensure all Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) inspections are conducted at the construction level in accordance with the design and technical specifications of the contract.
Primary Functions:
* Interface with on-site and off-site requirements to meet project standards and specifications, ensuring contractors align with technical specifications and HSE requirements.
* Attend project meetings as required.
* Review on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with technical specifications and external interfaces.
* Ensure compliance with pre-commissioning procedures and drawings.
* Report on-site design changes to management via Discipline Engineer.
* Monitor and report construction activities, perform site inspections and tests, and report progress and quality issues.
* Sign construction documentation within limits of authority.
* Verify as-built documentation and records as required by Quality or Discipline Engineer.
Personal Responsibilities: Lead by example in adhering to HSE management systems and project regulations, taking reasonable care for the safety and health of all personnel and affected persons during project execution.
Qualifications: CompEx – Ex01-Ex04 (Gas), City and Guilds, ONC/HNC, ATEX
Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a quality control role, preferably in the Petrochemical Industry, with experience in DCS and CMS systems.
Note 1: Experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Completions Management Systems (CMS).
Note 2: Experience with Honeywell DCS, Wood GoTechnology (QEDI) CMS, Emerson Process instrumentation is a bonus.
