Project Quantity Surveyor Wolverhampton £50,000 - £60,000 Per Annum Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:30am 5pm Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm Reports To: Commercial Director Job Description: Overview Enroute Recruit is partnering with a leading UK-based specialist in architectural glazing, curtain walling, and cladding systems to appoint an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly regarded contractor with a strong project pipeline and long-term growth strategy. Youll be joining a dynamic commercial team, supporting both pre and post-contract activities across a wide portfolio of technically challenging construction projects. Role Summary: Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of projects from tender through to final account, ensuring best value and full cost recovery across all contractual stages. Key Responsibilities Pre-Contract Duties: Assist with quantity take-offs for tendering, budgeting, and cost planning. Support tender submissions and compile commercial bids. Identify contract risks, opportunities, and inconsistencies in tender documents. Work alongside the estimating department and provide commercial support as needed. Post-Contract Duties: Manage all documentation and contract administration in line with company processes. Appoint and manage subcontractors under designated contractual terms. Oversee subcontractor accounts including variations, measurements, and contra-charges. Ensure accurate and timely commercial reporting, including CVRs and interim valuations. Maintain detailed records of variations, additional works, and contract changes. Prepare contractual correspondence and notices in line with agreed templates. Monitor and forecast project cash flow in comparison to budgets. Support project teams with cost investigations and financial reporting. Lead or contribute to internal project meetings with commercial insights. About You A third level qualification in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent experience). Demonstrated experience with JCT, NEC, or bespoke contract arrangements. Strong cost control, valuation, and financial reporting experience. Proven ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications. Sound knowledge of labour, plant, and material costings. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment to strict deadlines. Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites across the UK.
