Job responsibilities
What your typical day looks like:
* Provide autonomous, advanced clinical care
* Assess, diagnose, treat, and refer patients effectively
* Conduct and interpret relevant diagnostic investigations
* Maintain high-quality clinical records
* Work as part of a team and collaborate with other staff within DHU
To be a successful Advanced Practitioner you'll need:
* Registered and practicing with a Professional Body
* Registered as a non-medical prescriber
* Minimum of two Level 7 modules
* Autonomous practice in multi-professional teams
* Proven ability to assess and manage complex conditions in adults and children

Desirable Skills & Qualifications
* Skills in ALS/PALS, cannulation, ECG interpretation, plastering, suturing, IRMER & X-ray interpretation, pathology, telephone triage
* Full driving license (for other DHU divisions)
* Masters level education or equivalent (e.g., MSc in Advanced Practice)
* Mentorship qualification
Experience (Essential)
* Substantial autonomous practice in multi-professional teams
* Evidence of autonomous physical assessment skills
* Broad knowledge of complex and common conditions in primary care (adults and children)
* Experience in nurse-led clinics, emergency care, out-of-hours, or walk-in centres
* Consolidated independent prescribing experience
