About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented 4D Planner to join our construction team, with a specific focus on data centre and large-scale warehouse builds. In this role, you will be responsible for integrating 3D models with project schedules to create accurate and dynamic 4D simulations that drive construction sequencing, coordination, and communication across teams.
You will play a critical role in supporting digital construction planning, helping identify spatial and sequencing issues before they reach site, ultimately improving build efficiency, safety, and delivery outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, manage, and maintain 4D construction planning models using tools such as Synchro or Navisworks Manage.
* Link 3D BIM models with detailed construction schedules (typically from Primavera P6 or Asta Powerproject).
* Support project teams during planning, design development, and construction with 4D sequencing and visualisation.
* Identify potential clashes or sequencing conflicts early in the project lifecycle.
* Collaborate with design, planning, construction, and client teams to communicate project phasing and construction logic effectively.
* Lead or participate in digital rehearsals and 4D coordination workshops.
* Assist in tender submissions and client presentations with 4D animations and visual plans.
* Ensure compliance with BIM Level 2 standards and company digital delivery protocols.
Requirements
* 3+ years’ experience in 4D planning or construction planning using 3D/4D integration tools.
* Proven track record working on complex construction projects, ideally data centres, logistics hubs, or other large industrial/commercial builds.
* Proficient in Synchro 4D Pro, Navisworks Manage, or equivalent 4D software.
* Solid understanding of BIM workflows and federated models.
* Experience with scheduling software such as Asta Powerproject, Primavera P6, or MS Project.
* Strong technical knowledge of construction processes and site logistics.
* Excellent visual communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings/models.
Preferred Qualifications
* Degree or HND in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
* Familiarity with ISO 19650 standards and digital construction processes.
* Experience using Revit, IFC viewers, or working within a Common Data Environment (CDE).
* Previous experience on mission-critical or fast-track industrial projects.
