Overview
Our client is a leading provider of AV services and equipment for large-scale international events and concerts. They are seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead AV logistics operations and ensure seamless support for productions, events, and installations.
This is a hands-on leadership role combining technical knowledge of AV equipment with operational excellence and team management. You will oversee all aspects of the AV warehouse operations, ensuring equipment, inventory, and staff are managed effectively to support large-scale events and productions.
Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of warehouse and AV technicians.
* Allocate daily tasks, ensure adherence to processes and safety standards, and maintain a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
* Test, maintain, and ensure AV equipment (including microphones, amplifiers, cameras, projectors, screens, and audio consoles) is ready for events; oversee technical troubleshooting and repairs to keep gear reliable.
* Manage inventory systems and workflows, ensuring accurate tracking of equipment and supplies.
* Plan and coordinate dispatch and return of equipment for events, aiming for efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.
* Maintain high standards of organization, cleanliness, and safety within the warehouse; monitor compliance with health and safety policies and industry best practices.
* Liaise with Project Managers, production teams, and clients to ensure smooth delivery and return of AV equipment; address operational challenges proactively to ensure client satisfaction.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
* Proven experience managing warehouse operations, ideally in AV, live events, or technical environments.
* Strong technical knowledge of AV equipment, including moving lights, LED fixtures, and control systems.
* Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
* Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
* Effective communication skills with internal teams and external clients.
* Physical capability to oversee the handling of heavy equipment when needed.
