The Role
We are seeking a dispatch operative to join our operations team based in Birmingham. You will be responsible for:
* Processing and dispatching domestic and international orders
* Generating shipping labels
* Producing customs paperwork and documentation associated with shipments
* Maintaining stock records and shipping equipment
* Assisting with other areas of dispatch as and when needed
* Receive, pack, count and record stock from manufacturing and suppliers
* Supporting with stock takes as required
* Checking for quality against company set specification
* Transporting items between various locations and suppliers
* Comply with all site health and safety policies.
What we're looking for:
* Desire to learn and train on all elements of the role
* Ability to work to deadlines
* Experience in a fast paced dispatch environment/warehouse
* High levels of accuracy
* Someone with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* A friendly and approachable individual with a confident and polite manner.
* An individual with relevant software knowledge such as Word, Excel and Outlook
* Ability to work efficiently as part of a team but also independently
