What will the role look like?
As a Locality Manager within Linking Leeds Social prescribing team you will manage one of the three city wide areas, managing a staff team of up to 15 people in that area with the support of a senior worker. This will include matrix managing staff from partner services. You will also be required to support staff from across the service in managing safeguarding concerns and client risk as part of a duty manager rota.
You will also manage relationships within eight Primary Care areas that your team works within, and support staff in developing relationships and networks within those areas, identifying assets within the community. You will support the service manager in Linking Leeds and be part of the management team that supports the running of the service, whilst also contributing to the BARCA leadership team.
What we are looking for?
We are looking for people with experience in leading and developing teams in the health and care sector including supporting staff to manage clients that present with risk and safeguarding concerns. You will have experience supporting people to make changes to their behaviour that can positively impact on their lives.
You will be good at partnership working, both with internal partners and externally, having good communication and networking skills. You will be provide support to a staff team, including helping recruit, induct and develop new team members. You will be part of a leadership team within the Linking Leeds service whilst also being part of the BARCA Leeds leadership team and working in line with organisational requirements.
