Account Manager (Level 2) - Commercial and Public Sector

Overview
We are seeking an Account Manager to support the delivery of KPIs for the commercial portfolio and to help develop our culture. There are two vacancies: Commercial team (37 hours per week, Permanent) and Public Sector (37 hours per week, Permanent).
Responsibilities
* Work closely with all your customers, attending regular Teams meetings, occasional face-to-face meetings, and communicating via email and telephone. Serve as the customer champion within Wave and with regulators and water companies to ensure positive and fair outcomes.
* Implement an Account Development Plan (ADP) for each customer and use it to guide a communication schedule. Understand customer drivers and objectives and help achieve them within their timeframe.
* Add value to accounts through promotion of Water Efficiency Services.
* Develop relationships with other business areas such as metering, billing and Wholesaler Management.
* Support growth and retention opportunities with the I&C Sales and Bid teams.
* Review reports and manage debt according to contracted payment terms.
* Work with customers and wholesalers to reduce long unread meters (LUMS) and increase billing accuracy and data quality.
Requirements
* A strong desire to provide high levels of customer service.

* Numerical literacy with good analytical and MS Excel skills.
* Ability to write effective communications.
* Excellent time-management and organisational skills.
* Degree or equivalent experience in a related subject.
* Account Management experience with a history of developing long-term relationships with key customers.
* Demonstrable B2B sales experience in a commercial environment.

The Role in a Nutshell
The commercial team services multisite customers including retailers, hotels, gyms and airports. The role supports KPI delivery for the commercial portfolio and helps nurture Wave’s culture.
