Job Description
3. Manage procurement and supply chain activities
4. Develop and implement strategic procurement plans
5. Maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts
6. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures
7. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs
8. Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements
9. Ensure procurement activities align with organisational sustainability goals
10. Prepare and present procurement reports to management
The Successful Applicant
A successful Procurement Specialist should have:
11. A degree in business, supply chain management or a related field
12. Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management
13. Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
14. Ability to develop and implement strategic procurement plans
15. Understanding of procurement best practices and policies
16. Excellent communication and presentation skills
17. Knowledge of sustainability principles and their application in procurement
