As Deputy Chief Nursing/AHP Information Officer (DCNIO/DCAHPIO), you will support the Chief Nursing Information Officer in leading the digital transformation of nursing, midwifery, and allied health professional (AHP) services. You will act as a key liaison between clinical teams and digital services, ensuring that informatics solutions support high-quality, safe, and efficient patient care.
Main duties of the job
You will champion the use of digital technologies in clinical practice, lead clinical engagement in digital projects, and support the development and implementation of digital strategies aligned with organisational priorities. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of clinical workflows, digital systems, and change management within a healthcare setting.

All successful applicants will be required to complete our corporate trust induction once a start date had been agreed.
Following your corporate induction you will be expected to attend the Trust’s 2-week Induction Programme for RNs, NAs, RMs, ODPs and Paramedics. The programme is full-time (please email if this is problematic) and will involve travel to both Trust sites. The programme includes supernumerary shifts in the clinical area, classroom-based sessions and e-learning.

Essential criteria
5. Registered practitioner qualified to degree or diploma level.
6. Master's level qualification, working towards or equivalent experience.
Desirable criteria
7. Digital Health Leadership postgraduate diploma.
Experience

8. Demonstrable previous success in leading and delivering change.
9. Ability to manage performance by engaging teams in the strategic direction and delivery plans.
