Leading Consulting organisation is seeking an experienced Consultant / Senior Consultant with a strong background in the Specialty and Lloyd’s insurance markets and proven expertise in Post-Merger Integration (PMI), operating model alignment and transformation delivery. This is a permanent role based in London, on a hybrid basis with 2-3 days. Salary on offer is between £80K - £90K + Bonus and Full Benefits.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders to assess integration readiness, identify synergies, design target operating models, and drive successful execution. The role requires strong analytical capability, operational understanding, and the ability to translate complex challenges into practical, business-focused solutions.
Responsibilities:
* Lead or support post-merger integration and transformation workstreams for insurance clients.
* Conduct readiness assessments, gap analyses, and synergy evaluations across key business functions.
* Advise on operating models, governance, and cultural integration strategies.
* Partner with C-suite stakeholders to define objectives, facilitate workshops, and oversee execution.
* Support change management, communication, and reporting on progress and risks.
* Contribute to proposals, client presentations, and thought leadership initiatives.
Skills and Experience:
* 4-7 years of Consulting or Advisory experience within Insurance.
* Proven track record delivering M&A integration or transformation projects.
* Strong understanding of the Lloyd’s and Specialty markets, including syndicate operations, UK, and Bermuda markets.
* Proven track record in delivering Post-Merger Integration (PMI) or large-scale transformation programmes.
* Experience with target operating model design, process optimisation, and integration readiness.
* Familiarity with digital and data-driven transformation.
* Project Management certification (Agile, PMP, or Prince2).
