This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role within a well-established food distribution business. You will develop and manage a defined territory, driving sales growth through new business acquisition and strengthening existing relationships. Roles & Responsibilities Deliver and exceed agreed territory sales, margin, and profitability targets. Develop the territory by identifying and securing new foodservice customers aligned with the commercial plan. Grow existing accounts by expanding the product range supplied, with a focus on chilled, frozen, and ambient product opportunities. Increase market share by targeting and converting competitor accounts. Manage customer relationships to ensure accounts remain within agreed credit terms. Control territory management costs through effective planning, resource allocation, and structured customer call cycles. Provide excellent customer service through clear communication, accurate field information, and strong administration practices. Monitor competitor activity and provide relevant market intelligence to the Sales Manager. Maintain accurate reporting including journey plans, sales reports, account updates, and gains and losses tracking. Manage customer margin targets in line with overall territory objectives. Participate in sales campaigns and company-wide sales initiatives as required. Essential Criteria Minimum of 3 years' experience in a proactive field sales role, ideally within the foodservice or FMCG sector. Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets. Strong relationship-building and networking skills within the sales community. Full clean driving licence. Strong organisational and territory management skills. Proficiency in MS Office.
