We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Sports Coach to join our team. As a Sports Coach, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our sports programme and inspiring individuals to achieve their personal best.
Duties
* Educate athletes on the fundamentals of their respective sports, including techniques, strategies, and rules.
* Develop and implement training sessions that cater to various skill levels and promote physical fitness.
* Monitor and evaluate athlete performance, providing constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
* Foster a positive team environment that promotes teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
* Organise and lead practices, drills, and competitive events while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
* Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and other coaching staff regarding progress and development.
* Stay updated on the latest coaching techniques and trends in sports education.
Requirements
* Proven experience in sports coaching or a related field is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of the sport being coached, including rules, strategies, and training methods.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire athletes.
* Ability to work collaboratively with other coaches and staff members.
* A commitment to continuous learning and professional development in sports coaching.
* Relevant certifications in coaching or first aid are advantageous but not essential.
Preferable -
* Level 2 or Experience in Cricket
* Experience teaching physical activity.
