Troubleshoot on equipment and accessories Report faults on endoscopes to co-ordinator; arrange return to supplier and request loan replacement. Complete relevant decontamination forms Always adhere to infection control measures.
Follow procedures for cleaning and disinfecting endoscopes and accessories at all times To handle hazardous chemicals daily according to COSHH guidelines and local policy Evidence of literacy, numeracy and IT skills. To act as patients, advocate during invasive procedures Participate in the management of stock, ensuring procedure rooms are restocked for use Assist nursing and clerical staff with administrative duties when required Ensure that all duties are carried out to the highest possible standard and in accordance with local policies, procedures and national guidelines
