Job Title: Commercial Administrator
Location: Thame - OX9
Salary: £26,000-£27,000 per annum

must have previous Commercial Admin experience within social housing
supporting the commercial team with financial, contractual, and administrative tasks to ensure construction projects stay on budget and schedule. Key duties include preparing orders and invoices, managing project databases, assisting with client payments, and liaising with various stakeholders. The role requires strong organizational and IT skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Key responsibilities
* Financial administration:
Process invoices, assist with client applications for payment, manage payment certificates, and help prepare monthly financial reports.
* Order and contract support:
Assist in preparing and processing subcontract and supplier orders.
* Database and document management:
Maintain project databases, organize electronic and hard copy files, and ensure all documents are correctly filed.
* Project support:
Help with the preparation of site-specific documentation like method statements and risk assessments.
* Liaison and communication:
Answer queries from clients and liaise with other teams, such as Credit Control and the build manager.
* General administration:
Provide general administrative support to the commercial team, including preparing for and attending meetings.
Required skills and qualifications
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
* Strong attention to detail.
* The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Customer service skills are often required.
