Role Overview
As a Senior Floor Manager, you will provide support to the Store Manager, acting as a vital link between Management and Sales staff. You will take responsibility for various processes within the store, owning specific areas of the shop floor, and driving sales.
Customer Service
* Ensure excellent customer service levels.
* Deal with customer complaints and enquiries, providing the best possible outcome.
* Monitor sales staff's personal appearance, ensuring it aligns with company guidelines.
* Understand the importance of the Customer Service measuring programme and report analysis.
Sales
* Achieve sales targets, exceeding them where possible.
* Monitor sales staff's service on a daily basis.
* Manage in-store devices, offering the full product range to customers.
* Use reports to inform product placement and key selling lines.
* Understand Footfall, ATV, and Conversion, applying this knowledge to the store environment.
Visual Merchandising
* Attract, engage, and motivate customers using the latest visual techniques.
* Maintain the store to the highest possible standard.
* Keep stock clean, presentable, and well-organised at all times.
Training & Development
* Encourage personal progression within the store.
* Assist in maintaining the team's progression through relevant training and E-Assessments.
* Provide assistance with induction and training for new starters.
Skills/Experience/Knowledge Needed
* Retail Management experience is advantageous.
* Excellent Time Management skills.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* IT skills: Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
