Macmillan Colorectal Cancer Nurse Specialist

We're looking for a passionate and experienced nurse to join our dynamic colorectal cancer team as a Macmillan Colorectal Cancer Nurse Specialist. This is more than a job -- it's a chance to be a key part of a nationally recognised cancer service, delivering compassionate, expert care to patients throughout their cancer journey.
As a Macmillan professional, you'll be supported to grow, lead, and innovate in a role that blends clinical excellence with leadership, education, and service development.
Main duties of the job
* Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
* Act as a clinical expert in colorectal cancer, supporting surgical and oncology teams.
* Lead nurse-led clinics, perform holistic needs assessments, and support treatment planning.
* Provide education and emotional support to patients and families.
* Contribute to MDT meetings, service development, audits, and research.
* Support staff education and act as a role model in clinical practice.
* Ensure compliance with national cancer standards and COSD metrics.

Qualifications
* Degree (BSc) or equivalent in a health related subject, or working towards
* NMC Adult registered Nurse
* Advanced practitioner through formal qualification (Degree) and or extensive clinical pertinent to the area
