Salary: up to £53,200 (FTE) (dependent on experience) plus £5,000 Welcome Bonus (payable as one payment of £2,500 after one month, and a further £2,500 upon completion of your final probation period. T&C's apply)

About the role
Upton Grange is seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our expanding team. You will implement a holistic, therapeutic, and dynamic approach to support our pupils in their daily lives—ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and their occupational and sensory needs are met. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing bespoke interventions, and preparing documentation such as reports and sensory profiles. You will also provide training and information to staff, commissioners, and other agencies as needed.
You will work within a well-established, supportive multidisciplinary therapy team, including Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and therapy assistants, to create an environment where pupils can flourish, learn, and develop. An integrated approach to care, education, and clinical services is ideal for this role.

Qualifications and Experience
* Occupational Therapy BSc (Hons)
* Registered with HCPC and RCSLT or RCOT
* Knowledge of Sensory Integration or Sensory Regulation approaches
* Experience working with children and/or adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism, including complex trauma, mental health needs, or behaviors of concern
* Ability to collaborate effectively with partners
* Sensitivity and conflict resolution skills
* Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle
