Duties
* Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables.
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen by washing dishes, pots, and utensils promptly.
* Support chefs by keeping the kitchen stocked with necessary supplies and ingredients.
* Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
* Assist in maintaining a clean and organised work area to promote efficiency and safety.
* Help with basic cooking tasks as required, under the guidance of senior kitchen staff.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential.
* A keen interest in food preparation and cooking is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with hospitality standards and practices will be advantageous.
* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
* Strong organisational skills with an emphasis on cleanliness and attention to detail.
