We're excited to be recruiting for a dedicated and detail-driven Production Planner to join one of our clients! In this key role, you'll take charge of managing the flow of orders for two of our core product ranges, ensuring every part is processed efficiently, accurately, and on time to meet customer expectations.
You will assist the Planning Manager, utilising core skills in mechanical knowledge, quality control, SAGE, ERP, and continuous improvement. Your role will enhance productivity and drive operational excellence within the manufacturing processes.
Location - Burton on Trent
Time - Core Hours
Shift - Monday - Friday 37.5 Hours
Salary - £30'000 - £35'000 DOE
Your key responsibilities:
* Develop and manage production schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
* Monitor progress, adjust schedules, and address delays.
* Oversee inventory, coordinating with procurement to prevent shortages or overstock.
* Communicate build plan performance, targets, and delays with the team.
* Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
* Manage works orders & subcontract POs - Ensure all process times are factored into planning.
