Are you an English Teacher who understands that progress looks different for every child? We are working with a truly inspiring specialist Autism school in the Hart area of Hampshire, designed to provide an education that meets each learner where they are. The school supports children and young people aged 11–16 with Autism (ASC) and related needs such as ADHD and mild SEMH. Every day is centred around communication, consistency, and trust. The Role:
Deliver engaging and creative English lessons up to GCSE level in small, well-resourced classes Plan and adapt lessons to reflect the communication styles, sensory needs and interests of autistic learners Foster literacy and self-expression through a nurturing, structured approach Work collaboratively with skilled Teaching Assistants, Speech and Language Therapists, and Occupational Therapists to remove barriers to learning

About You:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential Strong subject knowledge in English and experience teaching up to GCSE Experience of working with autistic young people, or a deep desire to learn A reflective practitioner who embraces flexibility, curiosity and a growth mindset
