Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilledMechanical Fitterto join our team. The ideal candidate will be involved in the assembly and maintenance of pressure vessels and hyperbaric chamber systems, ensuring high standards of quality and safety. This role requires hands-on mechanical fitting, working with precision tools, pneumatics, and assembling systems for human occupancy under controlled environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Mechanical Fitting & Assembly:
* Assemble mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and systems for hyperbaric chamber pressure vessels, ensuring adherence to engineering drawings and specifications.
* Fit, align, and install parts and components, ensuring accurate assembly and high levels of precision in the manufacturing process.
* Support the assembly of pressure vessels designed for human occupancy, ensuring the proper installation of safety and pressure control systems, as well as all mechanical systems within the chamber.
* Work with materials and components to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Pneumatic Systems Installation:
* Assist in the installation, assembly, and maintenance of pneumatic components (valves, compressors, control systems) essential for the operation of hyperbaric chambers.
* Ensure all pneumatic systems are tested, functional, and in compliance with operational standards.
* Operate in cleanroom or controlled environments, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene during mechanical fitting and assembly.
* Follow strict protocols to prevent contamination of materials and components during the assembly process.
Testing & Inspection:
* Perform mechanical testing and inspections to verify the functionality and safety of systems, pressure vessels, and assemblies.
* Ensure all mechanical components are in working order, meeting internal and external quality standards.
* Work closely with engineers, production teams, and quality control personnel to ensure projects are completed on time, and that products meet all specifications.
* Participate in problem-solving and troubleshooting efforts to resolve mechanical issues during production.
Documentation & Compliance:
* Maintain accurate records of work performed, including assembly reports, inspection results, and compliance checks.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure that mechanical systems comply with relevant health and safety regulations.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Required Skills
* Proven experience as a mechanical fitter or similar role, with a strong understanding of mechanical assembly, fitting, and maintenance techniques.
* Strong problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve mechanical issues quickly and effectively.
* High attention to detail, ensuring precision in every aspect of mechanical fitting and assembly.
* Commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards during the production process.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics for mechanical systems.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience working with pressure vessels, pneumatic systems, and precision mechanical components is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of pneumatic systems, including valves, air compressors, and control systems.
* Experience working in clean or controlled environments, with knowledge of protocols for maintaining cleanliness during the assembly and fitting process.
