Operations Support Manager

Location : National, regional travel required between 11 to 14 DPD depots

Salary: £41,000 - £50,000 plus Car Allowance: £4,500

Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent

The role

We’re looking for an Operations Support Manager Out of Home to support the delivery of the DPD Out of Home programme across a defined region.

This role is focused on ensuring the performance, compliance, and ongoing success of our Key Suppliers delivering Out of Home routes. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining operational efficiency, supporting supplier relationships, and driving continuous improvement.

Working closely with DPD regional teams and internal stakeholders, you’ll monitor route performance, carry out audits, and provide insights that support cost efficiency and service excellence.

What you’ll be doing

6. Managing the day‑to‑day performance of Key Suppliers within your region
7. Building strong relationships with DPD depot and regional teams
8. Carrying out regular supplier audits to ensure compliance with operational and H&S standards
9. Monitoring route performance (e.g. utilisation, mileage, service levels)
10. Supporting onboarding of new suppliers and route rollouts
11. Providing insights to support cost control, invoicing accuracy, and margin protection
12. Identifying risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
13. Maintaining accurate operational data across systems including CityTrak, Salesforce, and DPD platforms
14. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the network
15. Acting as a CitySprint ambassador with suppliers and partners

What we’re looking for

16. Experience within logistics, parcel delivery, or a similar operational environment
17. Experience managing supplier, courier, or third‑party performance
18. Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
19. Ability to analyse operational data and identify trends or issues
20. Organised and able to manage multiple priorities independently
21. Experience working with operational systems and reporting tools
22. A proactive and solutions‑focused mindset
23. Confidence working cross‑functionally with internal and external stakeholders

All successful candidates will be required to complete a DBS check.
