Join HSBC for the Senior Data Management Lead role. This is a global role involving multiple LOBs and Regions. The data function supports hundreds of analytics professionals engaged in reporting, modelling, analytics, and data manipulation. There are significant data challenges and opportunities relating to data, analytics, modelling, and machine learning. There is an opportunity to shape the BCBS data delivery strategy for WPB Risk. Hybrid working environment with focus on delivery.

Responsibilities
* Drive the data strategy to implement consistent production of BCBS metrics across lines of business
* Implement optimum data risk controls and governance required for data consumed by the Risk Reporting processes
* Engage with risk users to identify and remediate data issues
* Engage with business stakeholders, demonstrating knowledge of their data and controls landscape
* Collaborate with Technology, DAO, Architecture and Business teams to deliver on key outcomes
* Collaborate with data risk policy stakeholders within group
Qualifications
* Familiarity with financial services organisations and HSBC’s structures, values, behaviours, processes and objectives
* Experience handling large data sets with WPB retail products data experience preferred
* Experience with large data transformation projects preferred
* Experience in the implementation of BCBS239 regulation
* Hands-on experience in data analysis
* Experience managing stakeholders/users across regions/markets
Location: Leeds, Sheffield, Birmingham, Chester, Edinburgh.
