An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Mental Health Nurse (Band 6) to join the Community Mental Health Nursing Team on a fixed term contract. This is a post in which the successful candidate will work with adults who present with moderate to severe mental health issues. The post holder will provide assessment, support, advice and interventions to support people to recover and work towards sustained wellbeing and self-management.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with people with a mental health disorder and must hold an active Registered Mental Health Nurse Qualification and NMC pin.
This is a fixed term position for 9 months, commencing 28 June 2026 and ending 27 March 2027.

As from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
