We are working closely alongside with local authority in Worcestershire to assist with the appointment of a Personal Advisor on a 3 -month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay : £15 .76- £20.61 per hour Summary: The Personal Adviser is a key professional role within Worcestershire County Council, reporting to the Team Manager, with no direct line management responsibility.
The primary purpose of the job is to provide and co-ordinate support to care leavers (relevant and former relevant). The goal is to enable them to make a successful transition to adulthood and achieve the goals outlined in their pathway plan. The post is graded at Scale 6.
The post holder will be required to work flexibly, including outside of normal office hours and evenings. The role is subject to an enhanced Criminal Records Check (DBS) and the relevant children and/or adults barred list(s) checks, as it meets the definition of Regulated Activity. Responsibilities: Provide advice (including practical advice) and support to care leavers Report immediately any signs of neglect, injury, or other causes of concern for a Young Person's welfare or safety to the Team Manager.
