Cygnet Healthcare is looking for a Activity Co‑ordinator (Maternity Cover) to join our team at Cygnet Sedgley House.
Please be aware that this role is a Maternity Cover role – up to 9 months.
The successful candidate will work 42 hours per week, from 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM – Monday to Friday.
Cygnet Sedgley House is a 20‑bed service providing a full multi‑disciplinary team, including occupational therapy, psychology and psychiatry, with support from registered nurses and support workers.
Your Day‑to‑Day At Cygnet Sedgley House
- Encourage patients to access and become involved in a variety of activities, as well as maintain any pre‑existing hobbies.
- Plan and implement therapy programmes while ensuring appropriate materials are obtained.
- Contribute ideas and facilitate events and activities in a safe manner.
We’re Looking For Someone Who Has…
- Experience and/or a passion for working in healthcare.
- Some knowledge of Occupational Therapy.
- A creative flair and the ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- An awareness of recovery approaches and social inclusion (desirable).
