Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Trainee Dental Nurse to join our friendly dental practice. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in dental nursing while working alongside experienced professionals. Duties
* Assisting dentists during procedures by preparing instruments and materials
* Ensuring patient comfort and providing support throughout dental treatments
* Maintaining a clean and organised clinical environment in accordance with health and safety standards
* Sterilising dental instruments and managing stock levels of supplies
* Providing patients with pre- and post-treatment advice and instructions
* Recording patient details accurately using IT systems
* Supporting administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and updating patient records
* Upholding high standards of patient care, communication, and confidentiality at all times
Qualifications
* Genuine interest in patient care and dental healthcare careers
* Good command of English, both spoken and written
* Basic IT skills for managing digital records and communication
* Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members
* Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment
* Prior experience in nursing or healthcare is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
* Ability to work as part of a team with a professional attitude and attention to detail
