About the Studio
We’re working with a dynamic, multi-disciplinary design studio of around 10 creatives, based in a vibrant co-working space near Borough. Known for their collaborative energy and exceptional studio culture, this team delivers thoughtful, high-quality design across a range of sectors.
With an exciting pipeline of projects, they’re now looking for a Architectural Designer to join their close-knit team and play a key role in shaping impactful interior spaces.
The Role
This is a hands-on, design-led position suited to someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys seeing projects through from concept to delivery. You’ll be working across a variety of retrofit-focused schemes within:
* Commercial workplace environments
* Retail spaces
* Care homes and healthcare settings
You’ll bring technical confidence, with a strong understanding of how to design within existing buildings.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support projects throughout design and delivery
* Develop design and detailed technical packages
* Collaborate closely with internal team members and external consultants
* Ensure designs comply with UK Building Regulations and fire safety standards
* Contribute to a positive, creative studio culture
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as an Architectural Designer (senior level or ready to step up)
* Strong proficiency in Vectorworks (essential)
* Background in interior design and retrofit projects
* Experience working on workplace, retail, or healthcare/care environments
* Solid knowledge of UK Building Regulations, including fire regulations (e.g. fire-resistant wall construction)
* Confident communicator and team player
