We currently have an opportunity in our Domestic Services Department based at Glan Clwyd Hospital.
Job summary
Support the Facilities Coordinator/Hotel Services Assistant Manager in delivering efficient and effective operational services across the service and contribute to the achievement of statutory compliance within your area of responsibility.
Hours: 21 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Working Pattern: 3 days per week
Working Hours Covered: Between 06:00 and 23:30
Includes: Weekends and Bank Holidays
The Domestic Services team is responsible for ensuring that standards of environmental cleanliness are maintained.
We are seeking additional Domestic Supervisors who will be responsible for ensuring cleaning standards are satisfactory in accordance with our set operational protocols and cleaning frequencies.
Previous experience working within the cleaning industry or as a supervisor is beneficial.
Uniform/protective clothing will be provided.

Main duties of the job
* Co‑ordinate and organise day‑to‑day activities of the operational staff within the department.
* Contribute to providing the best quality cleaning services to the environment within the Health Board’s premises; share lean practices with others and develop cleaning services as changes are made over time to respond to changing needs.
* Supervise, train and audit cleaning processes with Domestic Assistants in a variety of areas from very high risk to low risk, as classified by the National Standards of Cleanliness and manage different audit lead times.
* Monitor and sustain best cleaning practices and ensure that self and others maintain the required standard.
* Post is based at Llandudno Hospital; successful candidate must be able to travel to Community Hospitals and Clinics.
* Welsh speaking ability is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
