One of our clients seeks a Java Developer to join their dynamic team on an initial 6 month contract. This position is Hybrid (3 Days a week in office) and based in London.
Key Skills:
* 5+ Years experience in Software Development
* Strong experience with Java and backend development.
* Solid understanding and experience of TDD principles and frameworks.
* Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database management.
* Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
* Ability to work in an agile development environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, test, and deploy backend services and APIs using Java.
* Implement and maintain Test-Driven Development (TDD) to ensure high code quality.
* Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to design and implement features.
* Optimize performance and scalability of backend applications.
* Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in backend systems.
